Along with the rodeo, there will be a carnival for all ages at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds. Come have a good time at the carnival festivities Wednesday through Saturday, July starting at 5 p. Registration for competitions up to 20 participants in each category is at pm and at pm the games begin! A fun competition between the kiddos and adults. To start, children up to age 8 can compete in a stick horse race.

The parade begins in front of Wells Fargo, then moves south on Main St. This is one grand parade and a must-see event in Sheridan, Wyoming. Once the event is overhead on over to the Sheridan Inn for the annual Pow Wow. The annual Native American Pow Wow is ready to perform. The WYO is a major stop on the rodeo trail for top cowboys and cowgirls from all over the world.
In fact, the WYO was nominated for large rodeo of the year for the Mountain States Circuit for , , and ! Rodeo athletes, both human and animal, will perform in four action packed rodeo performances, July 13th through the 16th, , highlighted by the ever popular World Championship Indian Relay Races! Family fun runs throughout rodeo week, July 11th through the 17th, with the Boot Kick-off, pancake breakfast, bed races, parade, POW-WOW, carnival, street dances and much, much more!!!!
